Who builds PDFVerge
PDFVerge is built by Ghazanfar Hussain, founder of WebScare (Pvt.) Limited. WebScare (Pvt.) Limited is a technology company registered in Pakistan and based in Sargodha, with a sister company, WebScare LLC, registered in Chicago, USA.
WebScare has built and run web platforms and hosting infrastructure for years. PDFVerge applies that experience to the documents everyone deals with every day: applications, contracts, statements, scans and reports.
What PDFVerge does
PDFVerge brings the everyday PDF jobs into one place: merging, splitting, compressing, rotating, watermarking, numbering pages and converting between PDF and images. Every tool is free, needs no account and adds no watermark.
The tools run in your browser using established open-source PDF libraries, pdf.js and pdf-lib. That makes them fast on any device and means your documents are not uploaded to or stored on our servers.
What is coming next
Conversions between PDF and Word, Excel and PowerPoint, OCR for scanned documents, e-signatures and a native Android app are in development. Some of these need server processing to do well; when they launch, each tool page will say plainly how files are handled.
