PNG or JPG?
PNG is the better choice for text-heavy pages, diagrams and slides, because it keeps edges perfectly sharp. For photo-heavy pages or when file size matters, PDF to JPG produces much smaller files.
Higher resolutions produce larger images and take longer on long documents. 144 DPI is right for most uses.

What resolution should I choose?

Why did I get a ZIP file?
When more than one page is converted, the PNG images are bundled into one ZIP so you download a single file.
