To convert CSV to PDF, select your .csv file, choose the paper size and click Convert to PDF. PDFVerge reads the columns, sizes each one to its content, wraps long cells and repeats the header row on every page. Wide tables switch to landscape automatically, and numbers are right-aligned.

Why convert CSV to PDF with PDFVerge

A real table, not raw text

Cells sit in bordered columns sized to their content, with long text wrapped inside the cell instead of cut off.

Header on every page

The first row is shown in bold at the top of each page, so page 9 is as readable as page 1.

Wide tables handled

Wide files switch to landscape and smaller text. If they still don't fit, the extra columns continue on following pages rather than shrinking to nothing.

Any CSV export

Reads exports from Excel, Google Sheets, banks, Shopify and databases, including semicolon CSVs and older Windows encodings.

About CSV files

CSV (comma-separated values) is plain text: one line per row, with a comma, semicolon or tab between the columns. Banks, online stores, CRMs and databases export data as .csv because every program can read it. It has no fonts, borders or page layout, so opened in a text editor it is a wall of commas, and printed from a spreadsheet it often spills across many pages. Converting it to PDF gives you a fixed, readable table.

How the table is laid out

  • Columns are sized to their content; long cells wrap onto extra lines inside the cell.
  • Columns that hold numbers or amounts are right-aligned.
  • The header row repeats on every page, and every page is numbered.
  • Orientation and text size are chosen automatically, from 9 pt down to 6.5 pt for very wide files. You can set both yourself.

Convert CSV to PDF without a website

Open the CSV in Excel and choose File, Export, then Create PDF/XPS (on a Mac, File, Save As, then PDF). In Google Sheets, use File, Download, then PDF. Both use the spreadsheet's print settings, so set the page to fit all columns on one page width first, or wide tables break across pages.

Limits

  • Up to 50 MB and 50,000 rows per file.
  • Latin, Greek and Cyrillic text are supported. For Arabic, Hebrew, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Indic or Thai text, use Excel to PDF, which also accepts .csv files.
  • A CSV holds values only, so there are no colors, formulas or charts to carry over.

Have a formatted spreadsheet rather than a CSV? Excel to PDF keeps its colors, borders and print settings.

CSV to PDF questions

How do I convert a CSV file to PDF?

Select the .csv file, choose the paper size and click Convert to PDF. The table downloads as a PDF with the header row on every page.

How do I make all the columns fit on the page?

Leave orientation and text size on Automatic. Wide tables switch to landscape and smaller text; if the columns still don't fit, the extra columns continue on following pages instead of being cut off.

My CSV uses semicolons. Will it work?

Yes. Commas, semicolons, tabs and pipes are detected automatically, including Excel's sep=; first line.

Why do accented letters look wrong in other converters?

Older Excel versions save CSV in a Windows encoding rather than UTF-8. PDFVerge detects both, so names like José and Müller come out correctly.

Is there a row limit?

Up to 50,000 rows and 50 MB. Split bigger exports into parts and convert each one.

Is CSV to PDF free?

Yes. There is no signup and no watermark.
