Documents that rely on fonts not installed on our server are rendered with a metric-compatible substitute, so line breaks can shift slightly in rare cases.

How do I convert a Word file to PDF?

Is my file stored on your server?
No. It is uploaded over HTTPS, converted, and deleted in the same request, usually within seconds. We keep only a technical log line (file type, size and whether it worked), never the file or its contents.
Will the PDF look exactly like my Word file?
For ordinary documents, yes: text, fonts, tables, images and page layout are preserved. Rare custom fonts are replaced with metric-compatible ones, which can move a line break in unusual layouts.
Is there a file size limit?
Files up to 50 MB can be converted. Very long or complex documents may time out; splitting them into parts helps.
Can I convert a DOC file from old versions of Word?
Yes. Both the older DOC format and modern DOCX are supported, as are ODT and RTF.
