To rotate a PDF, select the file, choose 90° clockwise, 90° anticlockwise or 180°, pick which pages to turn (all, odd, even or specific pages) and click Rotate pages. The rotation is saved into the new PDF, so it opens the right way in every viewer.
Why rotate PDFs with PDFVerge
Rotate only the pages you need
Fix one landscape table in a portrait report without touching the rest of the document.
Permanent rotation
Unlike rotating the view in a PDF reader, the change is saved into the file for everyone who opens it.
Lossless
Rotation only changes page orientation. Content isn't re-rendered or compressed.
Free, no watermark
No account needed and nothing added to your pages.
Why pages end up sideways
Sideways pages usually come from scanners and phone cameras that guess orientation wrongly, or from documents that mix portrait and landscape pages. Rotating in a PDF viewer only changes how you see it; the next person still gets the sideways file. Rotating here fixes the file itself.
Rotation is added to each page's existing orientation, so rotating a page twice by 90° turns it 180°.
Rotate PDF questions
How do I rotate a PDF and save it?
Select the PDF, choose the rotation and pages, click Rotate pages and download the new file. The rotation is stored in the file permanently.
Can I rotate just one page?
Yes. Choose “Specific pages” and type the page number, for example 4.
Does rotating reduce quality?
No. Only the page orientation changes.
Why does my PDF still look sideways in one app?
Some viewers remember their own view rotation. Close and reopen the downloaded file, and it will open the right way.
